Welcome to Say it in Sugar! My name is Diana - I am the baker behind the scenes and would love to chat cookies!
My sugar cookies are made with fresh and top-quality ingredients, including vanilla bean, brown sugar and real butter, and are topped with a delicious lemon royal icing that dries firm but has a soft bite. All cookies are hand-crafted in small batches with each set designed to perfectly suit your event or recipient. Every detail and inspiration photo you provide upon ordering is taken into consideration when planning out your set so that you can proudly display your cookies at your special event. I take great pride in providing an artful cookie that is just as beautiful to look at as it is pleasing to eat!
Sugar cookies are a labour of love - many steps go into the creation of them; from designing your set, printing cookie cutters, making dough and icing, baking the shapes, decorating (with dry time between flooding and detail work) to packaging. I love every step but because of the volume of work, I can take on limited custom work every week.
